    AIRPLANE ANXIETY: A thought process

    I love airports. Since childhood they have been sanctuaries of people watching, overwhelming food choices, shitty (but free) Wi-Fi and most importantly, places where the anticipation of overseas travel is most tangible.

    But while airports can be places of excitement, long haul plane trips are generally quite horrific, fraught with anxiety-inducing situations that make flying an emotionally mixed bag. Here’s a taste of the thoughts that run through my head (and perhaps yours) during a typical travel day.
